You can back up an entire computer or just one file at any time with O&O DiskImage 17, even while the computer is being used. If you lose your personal information, you can quickly get it back with just a few mouse clicks, even if Windows won’t start. It also works with SSD drives and the newest version of the UEFI System.

O&O DiskImage lets you restore your system and copy or clone your whole PC or hard drive. You can even restore this backup to a computer whose hardware is different from the original machine. For example, if you changed the motherboard on the target machine or bought a new PC and want to restore an old backup onto it, you can do this.

Many users still don’t want to back up their files regularly. At least, they don’t see the value of a reliable and up-to-date backup until they lose important files because of software, hardware, or user error. At that point, it’s clear how important a backup really is!

New in O&O DiskImage 17 is full support for VHD and VHDX.

With the new version 17, you can turn O&O DiskImage image files into Microsoft Virtual Hard Disc image files (both VHDX and VHD). This is especially helpful if someone wants to “practice” moving from Windows 10 to Windows 11 by creating a virtual machine on their current system.

The new O&O DiskImage 17 can also make images of virtual drives that are incremental and differential. It is also possible to combine or mount these pictures. When a backup is available, it only takes a few seconds to get to any needed files. The computer work can then continue without losing any time or important information.

With its own recovery partition, O&O DiskImage 17

Usually, you need to make a boot medium (USB) with a backup or imaging program so that your system can start up if something goes wrong. You have to carry this with you or put it somewhere safe in case something bad happens.

Because it is built right into the system, the O&O DiskImage RecoveryPartition can be used right away to restore the last image of the system. If Windows won’t start or if bad drivers need to be uninstalled, the integrated recovery environment has all the O&O tools you need to get the system back up and running as quickly as possible. This is not only much easier and faster for the user, but it also gives them more security because this medium can’t be lost or broken as easily as a “portable” one.

Never before has it been so easy to keep your data safe!
