With n-Track Studio 9, your PC turns into a simple studio where you can record audio on multiple tracks. It is the best tool for recording, encoding, mixing, and editing sound on a professional level. You can record, edit, add effects, overdub, mix, process live audio, burn audio CDs, or make mp3 files. The Digital Multitrack Audio and MIDI Recorder in n-Track Studio can turn your computer into a powerful audio studio. You can record, playback, and add to your audio tracks by using the power and flexibility of modern PCs to add effects, process inputs in real-time, automate sends and returns for aux channels, and edit waves in both destructive and non-destructive ways. The program can record at 24-bit-192 kHz, mix at 64-bit, use sound cards with multiple channels, handle live input, burn CDs, encode mp3, and do a lot more.

n-Track Studio can do the following things: • Record and playback an almost unlimited number of audio and MIDI tracks

You can add effects to each channel or track using DirectX, VST, or ReWire. There are built-in effects such as Reverb, Compression, Parametric and Graphic EQ, Echo, Auto-volume, Pitch Shift, Chorus, Multiband Compression, and a Spectrum analyzer.

• Asio, WaveRT, WDM, MME, and DirectSound all work with 16-bit and 24-bit single-channel and multichannel soundcards with sampling frequencies of up to 192 Khz.

• Works with multichannel Asio, WaveRT, WDM, and MME audio drivers. This means that n-Track can work with almost any soundcard on the market today with the least amount of latency.

• It works with synth plug-ins from both VST Instruments and DirectX Instruments. You don’t have to buy pricey hardware MIDI synths in order to send sample-accurate MIDI tracks to VSTi/DXi software MIDI synths.

• Change how the effect is set up and hear it right away.

• The built-in effects include Reverb, Compression, Parametric and Graphic EQ, Echo, Auto-volume, Pitch Shift, Chorus, Multiband Compression, and a Spectrum analyzer.

Plug-ins from third parties can be used with DirectX, VST 2.0, and ReWire. On each channel, you can add effects that happen in real-time.

Plug-ins can be used to change live signals with input processing. Record the “dry” (unprocessed) signal while it is being processed and reprocessed. For example, play the guitar through a distortion plug-in and then change the distortion after recording!

More features: • Supports surround mixing for making DVD audio projects with 5.1, 6.1, and 7.1 channel surround formats

• Each audio track has a full spectrum analyzer, an automatic instrument tuner, and a 20-band parametric EQ with a graphical view of the frequency response. The sends and returns are fully automated, and you can use up to 32 aux channels. Supports more than one soundcard or more than one input/output soundcard. You can record more than one track at the same time and send the sound to more than one stereo output. Each output channel has its own effects and volume control for the master channel.

• It can be used with software from Propellerhead Software AB. Mix signals from other programs like Reason, Ableton Live, Fruityloops, and many more with n-own Track’s channels in real-time (such as Reason, Ableton Live, Fruityloops, and many others).

• Audio files with the extensions.wav,.mp3,.wma,.mid,.ogg,.flac,.aiff,.cda,.sng, and. sgw can be imported and exported.

• Import and export EDL multitrack song files so you can share songs with other multitrack programs.

• Use SMPTE/MTC or MIDI Clock sync, either as the master or the slave, to synchronize with other

programs or external devices.

• Play Videos (AVI, MPEG) in time with the music in a separate window for video playback. • Volume, pan, aux sends and returns, and effects parameters are all controlled by a computer. You can “program” fade-ins and fade-outs, cross-fades, making a track louder when there’s a solo, etc.
