DesktopOK is a very useful piece of software that saves and restores the positions of all icons on your desktop. It also has a few other tools that make the whole process easier. DesktopOK’s main window has all the features you need to quickly save a desktop layout. If you are an advanced user and want to use more advanced configuration options, DesktopOK can also please you.
You can save and restore the position of icons on the fly, and clicking “Options” lets you turn on auto-saving and change how it saves. So, you can use the work area or the screen resolution as the name and choose how many layouts you want to save.
Also, DesktopOK can be set to save the layout of the desktop before Windows shuts down and then bring it back to its original position before Windows starts up.
DesktopOK saves the original layout automatically, so it’s easy to go back to the default settings.
DesktopOK works well with all versions of Windows, and even though it puts an icon in the Windows System Tray, it doesn’t use a lot of hardware resources.
All in all, DesktopOK is a very useful tool, especially if you often change the size of your screen. So, each user can have his own layout, and the interface is very easy to use because there aren’t many options for setting it up.
